From the year 2011 Brihan Mumbai Ganit Adhyapak Mandal, Mumbai, Pune Zilla Ganit Adhyapak Mandal, Pune, and Ganit Adhyayan - Adhyapan Vikasan Sanstha, Nashik has started “Ganit Prabhutva Examination (GPE)” for the students of Std. 5 and Std. 8.
They encourage the students to solve non-routine and challenging questions, thereby getting joy of mathematics. Students studying Mathematics at secondary level are required to develop the skills of Analytical Thinking & Logical Sequencing. So, at the school level itself students must grasp basic concepts in mathematics.
To encourage the students to look beyond their textual knowledge and to think out of the box.

Students of Std. 5th and Std. 8th from All Boards.
For Class 8th: Syllabus of Std. 5th to 7th and up to 1st semester of Std. 8 + Ganit Prabhutva Book for 8 Std.
Note: 70% examples will be from Ganit Prabhutva Book
Ganit Prabhutva Examination is conducted in 2 levels.
Level 1 Ganit Prabhutva Exam
Maximum Marks: 100
Duration of Exam: 3 hours
Type of Questions: Subjective
Mode of Exam: Offline
Level 2 Ganit Prabhutva Sparsha
The student, who will get 75 or more than 75 marks, will be eligible for level - 2. No separate fees or entries required for second level.

Mode of Exam: Offline
Note: Both exams are subjective in nature and students are expected to show their entire working steps. Difficulty level of the questions increases in Second level
